Our media RTC Television is an open television channel in UHF band, belonging to the Municipal Corporation of Social Development of Iquique (CORMUDESI), which in turn is linked to the Municipality of Iquique.
The president of CORMUDESI's board of directors and at the same time Mayor of the Municipality of Iquique is Mr. Mauricio Soria Macchiavello.
In 1996, CORMUDESI applied to the Chilean National Television Council (CNTV) for a UHF band radio broadcasting concession so that the community of Iquique would have a local television channel to serve its interests.
